Our dog training facility is located west of Crockett, TX.

While our facility is nestled in the countryside, we welcome dogs from various urban areas including Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Austin, Waco, Tyler, Nacogdoches, Lufkin, and all the regions in between

EXPERIENCED TRAINER: Matt Larkin has been training dogs since 1995. He started out apprenticing for another trainer for many years and purchased Cross Creek Kennel in 1995. He has trained many different dog breeds over the years.

BREEDS TRAINED: We specialize in training all retriever breeds for retriever training (Dove/Duck/Goose, etc) and offer pet obedience training for the majority of medium to large breed dogs. Recognizing the unique characteristics inherent in each breed, we implement our tailored training philosophy, resulting in remarkable success. .

FACILITY SIZE: We are a smaller facility. We normally have 20 to 25 dogs in training. This gives us the quality time to spend with each dog every day.

BREEDING PROGRAM: With many years of experience bird dog training and breeding Labrador retrievers, we want to provide you with your next hunting partner, hunt test competition dog, or family pet. Our Labrador retriever puppies are versatile in all aspects. My puppies go to all types of homes. We have been breeding Labrador Retriever for as long as the we have been training hunting dogs.

LEARNING PROCESS: We understand that each breed is different and each dog learns differently. We train at your dog's pace and take the time to make sure they understand the training and what we are asking.
